I have eaten so much good food over the last two days that I may not need to eat again until the summer.

Right, people not from That Community may want to go make a cuppa for this bit. For the rest of you; Bored out of my SKULL with the telly and with nothing else better to do, thought I'd watch some old TG eps (It's research, I still owe [livejournal.com profile] dracothelizard at least one of the crazy crackfics she's talked me into...) anyway, just got to the news bit in 03x03 (the one where they drown Hammond, and has the concept Jag that looks like a vodka bar...) where they're talking about that Nissan recall and I had a complete brainfart. Richard and James are no strangers to roleplay. The whole 'Yes, what is it Watkins?' exchange... Please tell me I'm not the only one who saw that...

Yes, I am wrong in the head - blame the brandy sauce.

Right, the rest of you can come back now. God, it's been a good couple of days. I'm clinging onto these moments - always waiting for the other shoe to drop, you know? Everything's been so quiet and good, and I just feel... content.

Not used to that, not at this time of year!

*happysigh*

Damn, I knew it was just me ;)

Here's something in a similar bent I think you'll like - I was flicking channels last night, when I hit BBC Four, supposed highbrow channel that it is, where a programme was just starting about Adventure books for boys.

And there's our presenter in a BMW convertable taking a call from 'HQ' and being all Bondish.

"Hammond, we need you to look into this."

Yeah, my jaw dropped. Think we're bugged?

Yeee, you're getting all your icons up!

"Yeah, my jaw dropped. Think we're bugged?"

I think it's a sign that you clearly need to work on your Hammond!Bond fic.

And there was also some radio interview with May in which he was asked what cars the other two would be, and he basically said that he DID know what engines they would all be.

I'm slightly worried.

I am! Which means I can have my dog fangirling icon AND the three OTPs!

Yeah, I took it as such. *opens Writer*

I heard that interview, and I have to admit, I was a litle disturbed! ;)

Oh! You made the Zonda icon! That's brilliant!

Yay! *blows party whistle*

Rather worryingly, due to Riona's evil evil influence, I am now playing Silent Hill 2. And also due to her evil influence, I have fanfic snippets in which James Wilson from House MD, James Sunderland from the game, James May and James from Team Rocket are all in Silent Hill. James Norrington will visit too.

Compared to that, Hammond!Bond is so blissfully sane.

Go on, work :D

Hee, I like having the full set! Feel free to steal

James, James, James, James and James in this freaky toen with monsters and personl hell or something?! (*only knows about Silent Hill from Wikipedia*)

Sounds genius!

Go on, work :D

Yes'm! *curtseys*

*-*-*-*
Jeremy gestured at the screen with his empty glass.

"See… see, the reason Drax failed isn't that Bond is any better or smarterer... smarte... more clever. It's cause he wennabout it all wrong."

Richard pulled his face free of the carpet with some effort.

"Bollocks, Jeremy. Bond will always win. The villl... the bad guys, they always fuck up. There's always a... whaddacallit."

"A girl?"

"What? No, a flaw. They always get something wrong."

Richard slumped back into the carpet. Jeremy stared thoughtfully at the screen.

"I wouldn't."

"this freaky toen with monsters and personl hell or something?!"

Yup! So far, James from Team Rocket has leapt into May's arms, much to his annoyance.

""Bollocks, Jeremy. Bond will always win. The villl... the bad guys, they always fuck up. There's always a... whaddacallit."

"A girl?""

Hee! Yes! Trust him to focus on the girls!

"Jeremy stared thoughtfully at the screen.

"I wouldn't.""

'Hmm, take over the world? How hard can it be?'

Encore! Encore!

Is it wrong that I can see this and can't. Stop. Laughing?!

'Hmm, take over the world? How hard can it be?'

I was going to use that exact line, but I thought it might be a bit much... maybe I'll put it in later! ;)

Encore! Encore!

Oh God, I have NO IDEA what I'm doing!

Norrington is so going to mock him for this, once they meet him.

"Oh God, I have NO IDEA what I'm doing!"

I hardly EVER have any idea what I'm doing with fic, and yet it seems to work! *points at the 'turned into cars' fic*

Nothing to do with either fic, but once you might want to look for a torrent of last year's Brainiac Christmas special - they just showed it on sky three (ours is working tonight, for some reason, not that I'm complaining!) and the big finale is a race on ice - Hammond in the co2 powered wheelchair (with skis) vs Tickle in a co2 powered sled! *hurt self laughing*

You embrace the crack though, I'm still slightly wary of it.

That sounds HILARIOUS.

It is completely genius. Also, Tickle in co2 powered canoe ON ICE!

*pets the dinner-jacketed brown eyed bunny* Ah well, I guess I'm stuck with it... *still has no idea what to do next* I don't even have any bond movies to watch for inspiration!

There was nothing else on...um....umm... ok you caught me. The hydro-car one was so funny, and I was flicking channels, and noticed it was on, and thought I'd have a look. I saw him eating the card. It's his facial expressions..he definitely has good comedy timing.
