Nov. 26th, 2010 07:47 pmThe next small town (not the big town I often refer to) over from us is six and a wee bit (standard NI unit of measurement) miles away. Usually a round trip into Tescos takes us about 45 minutes (we can do here to town in about 15 and that's well within the speed limit) Getting home just now took us an hour and a half. Round trip two and a half hours. The road out is like an icerink, and bear in mind I live in a valley - there's a lot of abandoned cars dotted around our horrifically sloping roads tonight.

Oct. 18th, 2010 05:07 pmSo the BBC seems to have suddenly realised they have more stuff in their archive they can show in the afternoons than Diagnosis Murder and Murder, She Wrote. The pilot today and tomorrow and the series proper from Thursday. This makes me a very happy girl :D
