So the BBC seems to have suddenly realised they have more stuff in their archive they can show in the afternoons than Diagnosis Murder and Murder, She Wrote. The pilot today and tomorrow and the series proper from Thursday. This makes me a very happy girl :D

Lots of pleasing slashy asides on The Bubble tonight ("I had no intention of being cute!"). Who knew Miranda Hart shipped Mitchell/Webb? And Robert Webb's buzzer mashing on the headline about can you have spoilers for a panel show? just in case... ) was hilarious. Oh please, comedy gods, grant this show a second series!

I think that might be the biggest (and most true) build-up anyone has ever given Sooty :D Also nice to see Barry and Stuart pulling Suicide in C Sharp out of the bag again...

This one hits a double whammy with certain sectors of my f-list... if you didn't hear it when Big Finish released the last series of Eighth Doctor Adventures last year, BBC7 has them on on Sundays, and today's (so it's available for the next week...) was Max Warp... the one even the writer referred to as Top Gear in space! *g* Graeme Garden putting his best Clarkson forward, James Fleet (oh god the casting is inspired) being boring and pedantic (wonder who his character's modelled on?) and a refugee from a boyband playing... well... ;) It's a bit hammy in places, but that's part of the fun with the BFA's! (*has never got over Simon Pegg playing a gangster with no nose in Invaders From Mars*)

The Bunnies have got their wish! Seriously though, this news has me buzzing (I love Russell, I think he did great things bringing it back, but seriously, enough already. We know you think Ten's amazing and Rose was wonderful. Stop it.). I am now actually really looking forward to the next full series after the specials, and wondering what Mr Moffat has in store for us. If I were a real geek, I'd be wondering about now if he has an arc in mind something similar to the one Andrew Cartmel was trying to put in place for Seven when the original series was axed, but you all know I'm not a real geek, so I won't be wondering that. At all.

*has glee*

ANDY BEING A POLE!

JEREMY LIFTING RICHARD OUT OF HIS WELLIES!

THE. TURBO. FOUNTAIN.

My sides hurt, my grin is wide. It was as far removed from reality as Paris Hilton, but my god it was funny.

The fuses blew while I was spellchecking this prior to posting... luckily I'd typed it in Word - autorecover is the best invention ever!

Squee in here... )

And now she ded from laughter. Thought I'd give Peter Serafinowicz's new show a look in, since I was a huge fan of Look Around You... oh god... yes, this is the good stuff! [livejournal.com profile] rionaleonhart, I was thinking of you at one point - there was a running gag about Sherlock Holmes solving a mystery and celebrating by ravishing a complaining Watson...

John Simm owns you. He even owns David Tennant. There, I said it!

Here come the drums... erm, the spoilers... )

I just realised that I have not squeed about last night's TG Roadtrip Special. This is remiss of me, and must be remedied. Except... I dunno what's left to say! Richard deciding he was a cowboy was glorious, as was his CB handle and the inital drive through Florida, and Jeremy's car having the shirt of the last owner's last victim in the boot, and big Stig, and bumping into James becoming a running gag, and those astonishing radio ads, and the sun and the music and Jeremy waxing lyrical about being with his mates, and the COW! And poor Richard thinking he'd gone doolally 'There's a cow on your Cammero!"

I've not laughed like that in months. This is better than most comedy shows on tv right now.

And then there was the scary bit, and I don't care, I don't think that was staged, but dear god, whoever thought of that challenge deserves a slap on the back of the skull. "James, what you've done there is killed your friend!"

I've just realised this will mean nothing to the majority of my friendslist (shame on you! Watch the repeat and laugh yourself stupid!) and has probably utterly terrified certain Belgians... ah well, c'est la vie ;)
littlemoose: A photograph of a vivd blue swallowtail butterfly against an orange stucco wall (Ant: Perfect Video)
A little while ago, in an ill-fated attempt to corrupt [livejournal.com profile] rionaleonhart to the ways of Ant and Dec (I only suceeded in scarring her for life with the video for Lets Get Ready To Rhumble) I compiled a list of links to various Ant and Dec clips on youtube. 'It is a shame,' thought I, as I selflessly trawled the search function, 'that there aren't more of their pop videos up'.

I think someone heard me.

Cut for the sake of f-lists and sanity - a bunch of links )

Hee! Tonight's episode of Top Gear on BBC Three is the supercars in Paris one :D Hee! Getting stuck in multi storeys, Captain Slow turning into a daredevil on the world's twistiest road, Richard not having had his teeth whitened a lot and of course, the fight over the cool wall. I love being a fangirl! Also, Audience with Take That on ITV. I may need to annex the sofa now...

*Stalks off with flag to claim sofa*

Guess what I have in my sticky little mitts (no pun intended)?

Heeee! Beautiful World! Dad needed to go to Tescos to get stuff for this dinner he's cooking for the Cycle club, and I tagged along to pick up a copy :D

*pets the shiny*

It's so good - I know all the words to Shine already... And as for Wooden Boat - Jason Orange sings! And it's GOOD!
