I loved James saying, "Permission to say cock". I like his dry sense of humour. Overall it was really funny, but I would enjoy it much more if Hammond disappeared into the sunset. He irritates the hell out of me. Jeremey and James have definitely got more than friendship going on.
Hammond's actually grown on me, oddly - he's got a nice turn of phrase... but you're right about James's wit, he's fantastic (actually in a recent article about him the interviewer said that 'if his interest hadn't turned to cars you could imagine him ending up at the comedy store' which is quite cool on the one hand and sad that I recalled it...)!
Jeremey and James have definitely got more than friendship going on.
*g* A perusal of recent columns by both would suggest this - they're writing their own slash these days... Where's Sacred_Sarcasm when you need her? She'll be glad to have another convert to the J/J cause ;)
I thought I was being harsh on Hammond at first, but I've tried to like him, and the more I try, the more I dislike him. I can't imagine James doing stand up - but his wit reminds me of Michael Palin, kind of understated but very funny and good observationalist.
I would never actually read any J/J, but there is definitely something there. When I finally remove my head from my rear and get back to the Dec/James fic, I need to revise the bit I've written with Jeremy in it, to alter his motivation for being pissed at James /cryptic
(actually, on reflection, I think it may have been this (http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e197/MargotGrissom/roflbot-TzEq.jpg) shirt, and this is in no way just an excuse to link to this macro...)
LOL. I liked the slip :) It is still a disturbing picture though. I'm sure I will have to look at it a few more times when writing James, just for research purposes, of course.

Ah well, you can't blame a girl for trying ;) * does not mention that she thought the same once and then ended up writing it...*

Repost for Freudian slip... *facepalm*
