The only thing I really liked was the bitchy dialogue between the Daleks and Cybermen, that was beautifuly surreal.
Oh, and I really want a good fic where trapped!Rose realises that Mickey and Jake have been shacked up together for the last three years... That'd learn her!
I think I would have not made the retching noises if they'd left out the new baby. Rose getting a version of her Dad is just unbelievable to me. He is not her Dad - just someone who looks like him.
I think I need to go and learn how to structure a sentence! *blushes*
I think they could have still done the ending without the parents involved at all - and had Mickey as the one pulling her through...perhaps had them tracking the Cybermen from their dimension to another and then to the 'real world' (hence pseudo-daddy is explained away). This is far too convoluted I'm sure and one of the very many reasons that RTD earns his living the way he does and I do what I do.
