Gah. Melanie left a message saying she was coming this afternoon, but she neglected to say when, so I'm sitting with no music on and the door open so I can hear if she knocks.

Dammit, I need music, it's the only distraction I've got. At this rate I may as well go pace the dining room floor and watch out the window for her car :(

In good news, the writer's group starts up again tomorrow night, bouyed by the runaway success of Unlocked. Seriously, we can't get the books out fast enough! :D I'm thinking of playing around with the idea I started for NaNo and taking it in to see if anyone thinks it's salvagable. I have the middle pretty much written in my head, it's just getting all my characters to that point :S Also, Dad's determined that we sit down and put all the sketch ideas we've been kicking around into a proper script format. :D

*sigh* Another cuppa, and go watch the traffic, I guess.

Melanie decided today was a good time for me to go off on my own for a bit. Probably would have been if I'd had any sleep, as it is, I'm still shaking. I coped though, however wobbly I am, so I'm proud of myself.

I did, however, find a grade A bloody fantastic video on sale at a silly price. Dangermouse! :D I rewarded me for not keeling over ;)
