Today:
I had a good day. :)
- I caught the train to Coleraine. On my own. :)
- Was my day for finding amusing graffiti in toilets. First there was just the lovely, random #73 scratched in the paint on the door of a cubicle in the train station. It made me laugh, but then I'm a fan of Saturday morning TV and always have been ;) Then there was the badly spelled fundamentalist Christian diatribe scrawled in Biro on the wall of the toilet in Moores Department store that warned us that the end is coming and we'd all better get saved, stat. Not amusing, but underneath it, in a lovely italic hand, was written; 'Don't worry, we're all going to heaven. In fact, if you open your heart and your eyes you'll see we're already there.' Eh, it made me smile.
- I encountered the world's worst transvestite. The poor bloke had bright red lipstick, five o'clock shadow, a wig that looked like Melvin Bragg's hairdo and kept slipping to one side, and (despite the fact that it was freezing and he had to have been about 12 stone or more) a long, flimsy flowery skirt that my terrifying sartorially-challenged elderly Aunt wouldn't have been seen dead in.
I had a good day. :)
