I am falling a little behind with the wordcount. I am not, however despondent, and am of the mindset that 200 words is better than none. Look, a whole new me!

The reason - my wisdom teeth are pushing again. My goodness, but the pain! It actually hurts to open my mouth!

[livejournal.com profile] dracothelizard made me post a nano excerpt (yep, I'm doing it this year, and it's all going surprisingly well, since I abandoned any notion of Doing it Properly and decided to do the sequel to the 2005 multi meta fandom weirdness (by the by [livejournal.com profile] madscot, you make a cameo in this one too, hope you don't mind..) so here's excerpt #1: The Return of Irma! (her job is a dare from dad *g*)

Under here... )

ETA: Also would like to take break from swearing to pimp [livejournal.com profile] characterlove. Like [livejournal.com profile] characterhate, but fluffier! *goes back to swearing writing*.

So NaNo's over for another year! Congrats to all who took part, whatever your final wordcount :)

I hit 25k, which has rendered me chuffed beyond all chuffed-ness!

Here's to NaNo '06! :D

YEE! I'm only a couple of thousand behind, I'm catching up up up! :D

Last writers' group of the term tonight - went well, mainly because everyone was ignoring or taking the hand out of dim-tutor-lady. I surprised myself this term with some of the things I wrote... and some of the things I read out! I did read one very personal poem that I was very proud of... and was proud that I read it, too. And! And! I got good feedback ^_^

Plus it looks like we'll have a new tutor for next term :D

(oh, plus, I wore my NaNoWriMo 'I write books' badge to class tonight - ended up explaining the whole thing to David. He already thinks I'm nuts, so it didn't seem to worry him in the slightest ;))

This is turning into an excercise in how many fictional worlds I can lay complete and utter waste to. It's fun!

Mph. Can't shake this headache. Wrote nothing yesterday and only 312 words today... And the Lush site is having technical issues so I can't order my bath goodies, and the soap I bought in September is running out :(

*whinge whinge*

Oh, it's not all that bad, it's just that headaches make me cranky. I think the bad weather is what's causing this one - the pressure, you know? Serious stormage here now, so I'm hoping when that breaks, my headache will ease. One can hope.

Still, The Daily Show and Broken News are on tonight, so there's something to smile about :)
