A little while ago, in an ill-fated attempt to corrupt [livejournal.com profile] rionaleonhart to the ways of Ant and Dec (I only suceeded in scarring her for life with the video for Lets Get Ready To Rhumble) I compiled a list of links to various Ant and Dec clips on youtube. 'It is a shame,' thought I, as I selflessly trawled the search function, 'that there aren't more of their pop videos up'.

I think someone heard me.

Cut for the sake of f-lists and sanity - a bunch of links )

Dad and I have already had some fun with this, (we kept coming back to the idea of one or the other with a voodoo doll...) now it's your turn!

The Writers' group is having dinner tonight at one of our members houses... should be fun. Dad and I are bringing two cheesecakes, some hollandaise sause and dad's speciality egg dish-thing... I dunno how to describe it, but I know it's nice - it must be, I don't really like eggs, and I eat it!

Now I know I'm officially waterlogged just outside Cairo, but this was too funny not to call attention to. The 'also in the news' headline on the main page of the BBC News website (UK Edition) reads:
Ant marries, with other long-term partner by his side.
Whoever's working the nightshift at TV Centre's newsroom, you're a star. And now I return to my dinghy.

There was one specific point during Alien Autopsy when I knew they'd nailed it. During a particular speech Gary gave, dad from beside me was heard to utter, "Wow, he's cool!"

And I knew it to be so.

Halfway through the film I was cringing at one point, going "No, Ray, no. Gary, do something!" under my breath... and realised what I'd said. Not 'Dec'... not 'Ant'...

This made me happy.

I left the cinema beaming. Asked Dad what he thought.

"It didn't suck!"

I want to see it again.

This week's Heat has what is possibly the most genius picture of Ant and Dec ever. It contains at least 22 of each of them. As my mum put it, "that's overkill". No, it's AMAZING! I especially squeed at the bit right at the edge of the page where our heros were doing the classic two straws in one cup of coke thing (Mum again: "Well, they do know about you lot, don't they?"), and Ant having an argument... with himself. Look, just check it out, it's genius.

Also the accompanying interview asks them if they'd consider a sequel to 'Brokeback Mountain' as their next movie...

...

Ok, so, own up! Which one of you lot works for Heat?

The actual, proper Alien Autopsy site is up. I will let you discover the true horror of the navigation system for yourselves (the sound effects are the ace kind of gross) but Do check out the production stills... oh boy!

And, finally, finally! We have the full trailer. I am a little relieved. But still withholding judgement.

Go see!

The site for THE MOVIE *giggles* has been updated with a fab new layout, looks like the final poster... Still no content, but we've got plenty of time until April... makes me hope that if they're sprucing the site up, a full trailer can't be that far away.

And the first thing I thought of seeing that pic? 'Even in character they can't help but mirror each other..."

Yes, I know, nuts.

Dear Ant and Dec,

Thank you for the christmas present, I'll treasure it. The shot of you in the bath together will keep me going for a long time to come, but could you please sack whoever it was who cut away so sharply... oh, and the person who went so slap-happy with the bubbles, while you're at it.

Many thanks,
A delighted slasher.

*hee* My squee is broken, but what a way to go!

And while I'm at it, what about that sing-song at the end? Great shades of Eric and Ernie (especially Dec's dancing *g*) but what fun, and Robbie corpsing over Dec's singing was just sweet... and am I the only person who thinks that the little A&D bit was by way of a goodbye to them? Hmm... guess we'll have to wait for the new series.

Now, I'm off to watch the opening skit again... at least, the opening skit after the Les Dennis bit... nobody needs to see that. Seriously.

If I'm not on tomorrow, folks, Happy Whatever It Is You Celebrate! I hope you all have a lovely time :)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! It's up! The teaser trailer is up! I have finally seen the teaser! *does excitable fangirl dance* It's only a tiny tiny screen size though, not exactly HD video, but I'm hoping a better sized version will appear soon.

OMIGOSH... its real... they're really in a real film for real... oh boy... this could either be complete and utter genius or it could tank spectacularly...

*crosses everything and goes off to watch the trailer again*

According to the IMDB, Alien Autopsy is coming out April 14th next year. Interesting, since it's still filming... Empire has the most info on it so far, here. Hmmm... not quite so worried anymore :)

I was actually scanning the film sites to see when The Brothers Grimm is coming out here, since it's being released at the end of this month in the US. December 30th! WTF? I have to see this film! (Click on that link to view the trailer, than tell me you're not intreagued :))

There's a lovely huge double page photo of the lads in full movie mode in this week's Heat, burying what appears to be a body (must be the fake alien...) wrapped in horrible curtains. The buzz is beginning! Oh, and Warners have picked up the film for international release, apparently, according to various sci-fi sites (yes, I admit it, I'm a sadarse fangirl).

My mother is in despair: "Oh god, you'll want to go see it..." and... "You'll be counting down to it from now, won't you?"

Hee :)

Hahaha! GMTV just did a tiny behind-the-scenes on Ant and Dec's movie (I missed most of it because I was out of the room and had the sound off, so had no idea what I was looking at when I returned ). OMG... [livejournal.com profile] madscot, when you said Ant was in glasses, I did not realise the true magnitude of geekdom entailed in this - bad shirt, hair plastered to expansive forehead and the NHS specs... and Dec! Gordon Bennett! Ginger hair and a bum bag! It took me a minute to grasp the full glory of the hair because I was laughing at the bum bag so hard I teared up...

The movie had better be funny... ;) It's not out 'til next year, omg...

I was just listening to the first episode of the new series of I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue, when Humphrey Lyttelton, introducing the show as coming from Ipswich, had this to say:

"Thanks to sea trade with Europe, Ipswich flourished in the middle ages, having close ties with Antwerp (later twinned with Dectwerp)"

Dec wins!!

Football kits are good... more flesh please ;)

Poor Ant! Aww... rotten eggs *bleugh*

Will Smith is the coolest man on the planet. He so gets this show!

I was cringing my way through the undercover, well done Jonny!

Hugs! Awww :) Dec hanging off Ant after winning made me very slashhappy :D

Hurrah for Dec! I hope they do A Vs D again next series :D

I have a very scary fic idea in my head... it involves felt ;)

Oh... SNT tonight... oh boys, how I adore ye! It might have been a pre-record, but they still managed to ratchet the slash up to 11! Those puppets were genius... although Puppet!Ant's bulging eyes scared me.

And hugging...

And Ant making Puppet!Dec say 'I love you' *grin* (subtle hint here? After all, Dec made Puppet!Ant into a ravenous skirt-chasing letch..! Poor Kirsty... ;))

Ah me! *toddles off to watch it all over again*
